MSc@Math, Manchester or Bath? - bath math with out suction cups
Hello everyone, I received my degree in mathematics and mathematics is now MSC @ Manchester and Bath, admitted, Univ. I vote for?
After starting the program of the Master I am a doctoral program in mathematics @ UK / US / Singapore, I will concentrate on modern algebra, and I am also interested in combinatorics and set theory.
It seems that the Dept.Mathematics Univ. Bath has the best reputation in the United Kingdom compared to a SME UNIV. Manchester, and someone told me that there are some very good teachers in Bath, but I think the group of teachers in Bath is a little smaller, in algebra and research focus on 2 industries. In addition, although Manchester has a group of major research project, the student-faculty ratio is greater than that of Bath.
The university would be best suited for me? I am so confused. You should pay more attention to the issue that the school can offer a quality of higher education, and strong letters of recommendation when applying to a job in the PhD program later?
