Need help with Scosche GMLAN2SR 2000 GM Wiring Harness w/CHIME!? - 06 gm radio
So here is the description of this set of cables:

My question concerns the "Note" at the end of the description. I have a 2003 Tahoe Z71 with the Bose premium, why is it not compatible? I'm trying to replace the dash unit has with the AVIC-F700BT and the need to get all the bells and to see if you need to be wired up, but what's the problem with the Bose system? Why not be brought into harmony? Are there alternatives that need work? Thank you!

The Bose is a separate amplifier to use with another.
The question of compatibility has to do with the local communications network. There are a number of memory modules for a BCM program, and when the wire is activated, the search for the right amount of modules. If one is missing a code and can disable other functions too.
At the dealership where I work, I saw the original radio in the dashboard, which is still attached to the harness, and a secondary market for radio in the room, which later separated from the cable to the bell and OEM harness.This all other operational functions of the home, but still able to get super powerful system into effect. Just an observation and a suggestion.
